Posters/DVD Covers of The Dead and the Damned (2011) aka Cowboys vs. Zombies (2011 [after the release of Cowboys and Aliens]) aka Django vs. Zombies (German DVD after the release of Django Unchained). Boy, this movie must be pretty shitty to use this kind of “name-sploitation” to to be sold. Considering how many faked Django movies are out there, you could say that this Django-sploitation is a subgenre of it’s own in the Spaghetti Western-Subgenre. There are only two (2!) official Django movies: “Django” from 1966, directed by Sergio Corbucci and “Django strikes again” from 1987 directed by Nello Rossati. Both movies feature Franco Nero as the main character called “Django”. Other westerns featuring characters with the same name are as official as let’s say Lucio Fulci’s sequel “Zombi 2” to George Romeros “Zombie” (Dawn of the Dead).
Another Fulci Tribute I made - “Zombie” aka “Zombie Flesh Eaters” aka “Woodoo - Die Schreckensinsel der Zombies”
